Job summary

Zobility in Auburn Hills, MI is seeking an Automotive Cooling System Design and Release Engineer to lead the design, validation, and release of cooling modules and components for gas and electrified vehicles. You'll work with cross-functional teams, drive DVP&R/DFMEA, apply APQP and DFSS, and use CAE tools and CATIA V5/NX to optimize performance while managing suppliers and delivering on schedule.

Proficiency with Vis Mockup and Teamcenter is required to communicate designs clearly and support

Qualifications

Automotive cooling system components for electrified vehicles.
Experience with APQP, DFMEA, DVP&R and DFSS.
Proficiency in CATIA V5/Unigraphics NX, Vis Mockup and Teamcenter.
Strong collaboration with cross-functional teams and suppliers.

Responsibilities

Lead development, validation and release of cooling components for electrified vehicles.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet performance, safety and quality targets.
Create and maintain DVP&R and DFMEA documents for cooling components.
Drive program timing milestones within the project schedule.
Apply APQP and DFSS methodologies to ensure robust launches.
Manage supplier relationships to ensure quality and on-time delivery.
