Job summary

ASK Consulting is seeking a Product Engineer - Engine System Cooling to design and release cooling components for electrified electrified vehicles. You will lead early packaging and coordinate CAE, design, prototyping and testing with suppliers to meet functional goals.

Responsibilities include supporting vehicle assembly and testing, addressing quality issues, and pursuing cost reductions after launch. This is an on-site, 12-month position in Auburn Hills, MI.

Qualifications

• Design and develop cooling components for electrified vehicles.
• Knowledge of DFMEA, DVP&R practices.
• Lead packaging and early development to meet cooling objectives.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, validate and release cooling components for electrified vehicles.
• Lead early packaging and development of components to meet cooling functional objectives.
• Coordinate CAE, design, prototyping and testing and document activities.
• Cooperate with supplier to ensure manufacturability and track milestones.
• Support vehicle assembly and testing and resolve component issues.
• Address quality concerns and cost reductions post-launch.
