Haugland Group, a privately owned Long Island, New York–based civil infrastructure and energy construction company, has an immediate opportunity for an experienced Electrical Working Foreman to join our team. This position will be based in the U.S. Virgin Islands (St.

Thomas and St. Croix). Read and interpret drawings, coordinate with Project Managers and subcontractors, conduct daily safety meetings, and maintain reports.

Formación

• 5+ years in electrical construction with field leadership.
• Ability to lead daily field crews and coordinate safety.
• Read and interpret construction drawings and specs.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• OSHA 30 certification preferred; valid driver’s license required.

Responsabilidades

• Lead daily field operations for electrical construction projects.
• Supervise and work alongside field crews to ensure safety and quality.
• Coordinate daily work assignments, manpower, equipment, materials, and schedules.
• Perform electrical construction activities including installation, maintenance, and repair.
• Read and interpret drawings, specifications, and electrical codes.

Key Functions:

• Leaddailyfieldoperationsforelectricalconstructionprojects.
• Superviseandworkalongsidefieldcrewstoensureprojectsarecompletedsafely,efficiently,andaccordingtoprojectspecifications.
• Coordinatedailyworkassignments,manpower,equipment,materials,andprojectschedules.
• Performhands-onelectricalconstructionactivities,includinginstallation,maintenance,andrepairofelectricalsystemsandequipment.
• Readandinterpretconstructiondrawings,specifications,andapplicableelectricalcodestoensureaccurateprojectexecution.
• Conductdailysafetymeetings,jobhazardassessments,andinspectionstoensurecompliancewithOSHAandcompanysafetyrequirements.

Desired Qualifications:

• 5+yearsofelectricalconstructionexperience,includingexperienceleadingordirectingfieldcrews.
• Strongknowledgeofelectricalsystems,constructionpractices,equipment,andapplicablesafetyregulations.
• Abilitytoperformhands-onelectricalconstructionworkwhilesupervisingdailycrewactivities.
• Abilitytoreadandinterpretconstructiondrawings,plans,andspecifications.
• Strongleadership,communication,andproblem-solvingskills.
• OSHA30certificationpreferred.
• Validdriver'slicenserequired.
• WillingnesstotravelthroughouttheU.S.VirginIslandsasneeded.
