Job summary

VetJobs is seeking a Foreman to lead a crew in constructing and repairing underground electrical distribution systems. You will work on energized and de-energized lines and may travel to different job sites, including out-of-state locations, as needed.

The role requires five years of underground line experience, a valid CDL, and flexibility to work extended hours and travel on short notice. You will report to the General Foreman and ensure safety and quality across projects.

Qualifications

• Five (5) years of underground line experience.
• Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL).
• Willing to travel long distances on short notice.
• Lift, carry, push, or pull materials and equipment weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Work extended hours, including weekends and emergencies.

Responsibilities

• Perform new construction, maintain and repair underground distribution systems with safety first.
• Lead crew members and conduct pre-job and tailgate safety briefings.
• Coach and train lower classification employees in safe work procedures.
• Oversee projects and ensure quality and deadlines.
• Install and repair underground facilities and conductors; troubleshoot voltage issues.
• Manage switching procedures and use PPE and test equipment.
