Job summary

Electrical Reliability Services, Inc. seeks a trainer to develop and conduct programs for clients and internal staff, creating manuals, outlines, and audio/visual materials.

The role focuses on safe operation, maintenance, and testing of electrical power system equipment. The position includes internal and external training, content development for instructional materials, and evaluating trainee performance.

Qualifications

• Four years in related electrical power field engineering work/training experience.
• IEEE, IAEI and/or other professional organization involvement expected.
• Willingness to work flexible hours and weekends, if required; travel/out-of-area assignments may be needed.

Responsibilities

• Perform internal and external technical training on safe operation and maintenance and testing of electrical power system equipment.
• Develop content and instructional materials used in training delivery and design exercises to enhance classroom lecture content.
• Administer exams and write performance reports to evaluate trainee performance.
• Provide field maintenance and testing support and training course development.
