Job summary

High Voltage Maintenance Corporation seeks a Training Specialist to develop and conduct internal and external technical training on electrical power systems. You will create manuals, instructor outlines, and audio-visual materials for client and internal use, and deliver programs to ensure safe operation and maintenance.

The role includes developing content, supporting instructors, and evaluating trainee performance, with travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum four years in related electrical power field engineering work/training.
• Must be willing to work flexible hours and weekends, if required.
• Must be available for out-of-area assignments of up to several weeks.

Responsibilities

• Develops and conducts programs to train clients and internal company employees.
• Develop course materials to include manuals, training aids, Instructor outlines, and audio/visual materials.
• Perform internal and external technical training on safe operation and maintenance and testing of electrical power system equipment.
• Develop content and instructional materials used in training delivery and design exercises to enhance classroom lecture content.
• Reviews classes and provides support to other instructors; administers exams and prepares performance reports.
