Job summary

High Voltage Maintenance Corporation seeks a skilled Training Program Engineer to develop and conduct programs training clients and internal staff on safe operation, maintenance, and testing of electrical power systems. You will create manuals, aids, outlines, and audio/visual materials while supporting new business initiatives and serving as a liaison with customers.

Qualifications

• Must work well with others and use sound judgment.
• IEEE/IAEI involvement expected.
• Public speaking presentations may be assigned.
• Flexible hours and weekends, out-of-area assignments possible.
• Prolonged lifting up to 50 pounds; valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Develop and administer new training programs.
• Create outlines, texts, handouts, tests, and lab exercises.
• Review classes; provide instructor support.
• Administer exams and prepare trainee performance reports.
• Provide field maintenance and testing support.
• Develop training course content and materials.
• Coordinate training delivery with stakeholders; promote external training.
