Job summary

High Voltage Maintenance Corporation is seeking an experienced Training Specialist to develop and conduct programs for clients and internal staff on safe operation, maintenance, and testing of electrical power system equipment. You will create manuals, instructor outlines, and audio/visual materials, and deliver both internal and external training.

The role requires four years in electrical power field engineering or training, ability to public speak, and willingness to travel.

Qualifications

Four years of related electrical power field engineering work or training experience.
Experience making public speaking presentations.
Willingness to work flexible hours and weekends, and be available for out-of-area assignments.
Valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

Develop and deliver internal and external technical training on safe operation and maintenance of electrical power system equipment.
Prepare course materials including manuals, outlines, tests, and laboratory exercises.
Review classes and support other instructors; evaluate trainee performance.
Provide field maintenance and testing support and training course development.
Participate in meetings and training sessions to gather information for Training Services Service Center.
