Job summary

M.C. Dean is seeking Field Service Technicians to lead testing, maintenance, and startup of low and medium voltage electrical distribution equipment in data centers and industrial settings.

The role requires expertise in testing equipment, safety standards, and on-site coordination across projects with travel expectations. Candidates should have 2+ years of electrical experience and the ability to interpret schematics and manuals, with NETA/NICET preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2+ years of electrical experience with a High School Diploma/GED.
• NETA/NICET certification preferred or equivalent hands-on experience in electrical testing.
• Strong understanding of ANSI, IEEE, NETA, NFPA, NEC, and OSHA standards.
• Ability to interpret electrical schematics and manuals.
• Proficiency with protective relays, circuit breakers, transformers, and switchgear.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and lead projects onsite and in-house, maintaining documentation from order receipt to invoice.
• Test low and medium voltage cables, transformers, switchgear, breakers, relays, and related equipment.
• Contain costs by reducing waste and applying proper controls.
• Rotate on-call duty and respond to emergencies.
• Promote continuous improvement and teamwork.
