Job summary

Aerotek is seeking an Electrical Technician to join our Wichita, KS team. The role involves reading work orders, assembling wire harnesses, and reworking connectors to ensure quality results.

The ideal candidate will have at least 1 year of experience with aircraft electrical systems, strong harness assembly skills, and the ability to read blueprints. This is a contract-to-hire onsite opportunity with first and third shift availability.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in wire harness assembly and repair.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and perform blueprint reading.

Job Description

  • Perform electrical tests to ensure quality and safety standards.

  • Complete associated paperwork accurately and in a timely manner.

Essential Skills
  • Minimum of 1 year experience with aircraft electrical systems.

  • Proficiency in wire harness assembly and repair.

Additional Skills & Qualifications
  • Experience with aircraft components is advantageous.

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow complex instructions.

Work Environment

Join a team of 15-20 employees working in a collaborative environment. Candidates must be available to work both 1st and 3rd shift schedules. The dress code is casual, with jeans, work shirts, and closed-toed shoes. The 3rd shift hours are Monday through Thursday, 9:30pm to 6:30am (starting Sunday night), and Friday, 9:30pm to 4:30am.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Wichita, KS.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $22.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
