Job summary

Energy Transfer is seeking a maintenance technician to safely operate and maintain LACT, terminal, and rail loading equipment in Utah. You will handle pumps, motors, meters, valves, transmitters, and flow computers, ensuring safe transfer of crude oil and products and adherence to regulations.

The role requires strong electrical repair skills, instrument knowledge, and the ability to work with minimal supervision in varying weather and shift schedules.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years' experience in electrical repair with proficiency in instrument systems, gas detection, process analyzers, control valves, motor controls, relay logic, fiber optics, and pressure/flow measurement.
• Knowledge of national electrical codes.
• Ability to read and understand equipment manuals, P&IDs, and loop sheets.

Responsibilities

• Safely and efficiently operate and maintain LACT, terminal, and rail loading equipment.
• Ensure compliance with applicable regulations and company policies.
• Coordinate with supervision and other personnel on operational topics and equipment issues.
• Perform preventative maintenance and troubleshoot process equipment and instrumentation.
• Repair and calibrate meters, valves, transmitters, and related equipment.
• Record work in internal tracking systems and complete inspections/reports.
• Communicate with third-party contractors and respond to emergencies as needed.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment and comply with safety procedures.
