Job summary

CoVolt Power AHV is seeking a construction general laborer in Texas to support solar projects. You will perform DC and MV splices, SCADA equipment installs, cabinet installations, combiner box work, labeling, fiber termination, and LOTO procedures.

This role requires lifting 50+ pounds, standing or walking for extended periods, and working outdoors in all weather. You must follow precise instructions, participate in teamwork, and adapt to changing site conditions.

Qualifications

• Experience with outdoor construction preferred.
• Must be able to lift 50+ pounds and handle physical tasks on a solar construction site.
• Willingness to work in varying weather conditions and environments.

Skills/Abilities:

• Able to lift 50+ (?) pound materials, maneuvering them into their proper places
• Able to conduct repetitive actions, such as stooping, bending, pushing, pulling, and reaching
• Able to stand or walk for extended periods of time
• Able to follow precise instruction and receive feedback
• Strong teamwork skills and ability to work well with others, including colleagues and supervisors
• Experience working on solar construction projects preferred
• This position requires working outdoors in various, often extreme weather conditions including rain, snow, heat, cold, etc.
• Candidates must be able to work in all weather conditions, as safety permits.
• This position may also include exposure to loud noises, dust, debris, and other construction-related hazards

Education:

• GED or equivalent education preferred
