Job summary

CoVolt Power is seeking a field assistant for solar construction projects in Brashear, TX. The role involves assisting with DC/MV trenching, conduit runs, fiber terminations, and equipment installations. You will help with labeling, surveys, and as-built documentation, while following safety protocols.

Ideal candidates bring GED or higher, ability to lift 50+ pounds, and comfort working outdoors in variable weather. Prior solar experience is a plus; teamwork and reliability are essential.

Qualifications

• Must be able to lift 50+ pounds and maneuver materials.

Responsibilities

• Perform DC/ MV trench and conduit installs as assigned.
• Assist with cable and fiber installations and terminations.
• Assist with SCADA equipment installation and labeling.
• Maintain safety through LOTO procedures and IR scanning.
• Contribute to survey/as-built documentation and material handling.

• Experience working on solar construction projects preferred
• This position requires working outdoors in various, often extreme weather conditions including rain, snow, heat, cold, etc.
• Candidates must be able to work in all weather conditions, as safety permits.
• This position may also include exposure to loud noises, dust, debris, and other construction-related hazards

Education

• GED or equivalent education preferred
