Job summary

Schneider Electric in the United States is launching a Digital Engineering Application/Technician Development Program beginning July 2027. Participants complete a six-month training in Franklin, Tennessee, then transition into an Associate System Commissioning Specialist role supporting customers nationwide.

Qualifications

  • Associate degree or two-year technical degree in a related field preferred.
  • Experience installing software or operating systems.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
  • Experience connecting devices or troubleshooting communications across a network.
  • Ability to interpret electrical drawings and technical specifications.
  • Strong communication, teamwork, and organizational skills.
  • Willingness to travel 20-80% and relocate within the United States after training.

Responsibilities

  • Support deployment, configuration, and commissioning of EPMS for data centers and commercial/industrial customers.
  • Install, customize, and troubleshoot monitoring and control software used in electrical power distribution systems.
  • Configure communications between devices and networks while troubleshooting connectivity issues.
  • Interpret electrical drawings, specifications, and system documentation to support project execution.
  • Collaborate with Application Engineers, contractors, and end users during construction and commissioning activities.
  • Perform system startup, testing, customer training, and documentation of completed projects.
  • Assist customers in defining system requirements and optimizing system performance.
