Job summary

Schneider Electric is launching a Digital Engineering Application/Technician Development Program starting January 2027. The six-month training in Franklin, Tennessee leads to an Associate System Commissioning Specialist role supporting customers nationwide.

Relocation assistance is provided for training and final assignment locations, with opportunities to work across diverse industries and advance within a global leader in energy management and automation.

Qualifications

  • Associate degree or two-year technical degree in Electrical Power Systems, Electronics, Electrical Engineering Tech, or related field preferred.
  • Experience installing software or operating systems.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
  • Experience connecting devices or troubleshooting communications over a network.
  • Ability to interpret electrical drawings and specifications.
  • Strong communication, teamwork, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

  • Support the deployment, configuration, and commissioning of EPMS for data centers and commercial/industrial customers.
  • Install, customize, and troubleshoot monitoring and control software used in electrical power distribution systems.
  • Configure communications between devices and networks while troubleshooting connectivity issues.
  • Interpret electrical drawings, specifications, and system documentation to support project execution.
  • Collaborate with Application Engineers, contractors, and end users during construction and commissioning activities.
  • Perform system startup, testing, customer training, and documentation of completed projects.
  • Assist customers in defining system requirements and optimizing system performance.
