Job summary

Schneider Electric is launching a Digital Engineering Application/Technician Development Program in January 2027. The six-month training occurs in Franklin, Tennessee, then transitions to an Associate System Commissioning Specialist role across the United States.

Candidates must be willing to relocate and travel 20–80% as required, with relocation support provided for both training and final assignment locations.

Qualifications

  • Two-year technical degree in a related electrical field.
  • Experience installing software or operating systems.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
  • Experience connecting devices or troubleshooting communications across a network.
  • Ability to interpret electrical drawings and technical specifications.
  • Strong communication, teamwork, and organizational skills.
  • Willingness to travel approximately 20-80%, depending on final assignment location.
  • Willingness to relocate within the United States following completion of the training program.

Responsibilities

  • Support deployment, configuration, and commissioning of EPMS for data centers and commercial/industrial customers.
  • Install, customize, and troubleshoot monitoring and control software for electrical power distribution systems.
  • Configure communications between devices and networks and troubleshoot connectivity issues.
  • Interpret drawings, specifications, and system documentation to support project execution.
  • Collaborate with Application Engineers, contractors, and end users during construction and commissioning.
  • Perform system startup, testing, and customer training with documentation of projects.
  • Assist customers in defining system requirements and optimizing performance.
