Job summary

Schneider Electric is seeking an Associate System Commissioning Specialist for a developmental program starting Jan 2027. You will complete six months of training in Franklin, Tennessee, then support customers nationwide as you transition into a commissioning role.

Relocation assistance is provided for training and final assignment locations. Candidates must be willing to travel 20-80% and relocate within the United States after training. A two-year technical degree is preferred.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or two-year technical degree in Electrical Power Systems, Electronics, Electrical Engineering Technology, or a related technical field preferred.
• Experience installing software or operating systems.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
• Experience connecting devices or troubleshooting communications across a network.
• Ability to interpret electrical drawings and technical specifications.
• Strong communication, teamwork, and organizational skills.
• Willingness to travel approximately 20-80%, depending on final assignment location.
• Ability and willingness to relocate within the United States following completion of the training program.
• Experience with EPMS, BAS, EMS, or Systems Integration is a plus.
• Knowledge of electrical power distribution, power generation, and power quality concepts.
• Familiarity with SCADA communication protocols, networking architecture, and HMI configuration.
• Exposure to Schneider Electric software solutions and industry certifications is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support the deployment, configuration, and commissioning of Electrical Power Monitoring Systems (EPMS) for data centers and commercial/industrial customers.
• Install, customize, and troubleshoot monitoring and control software used in electrical power distribution systems.
• Configure communications between devices and networks while troubleshooting connectivity issues.
• Interpret electrical drawings, specifications, and system documentation to support project execution.
• Collaborate with Application Engineers, contractors, and end users during construction and commissioning activities.
• Perform system startup, testing, customer training, and documentation of completed projects.
• Assist customers in defining system requirements and optimizing system performance.
