Job summary

Actalent is seeking an Electrical Superintendent for field leadership on large mission-critical data center projects in Indianapolis, IN. The role oversees electrical subcontractors, schedules, and safety on active sites through turnover and commissioning.

Requirements include 10+ years in electrical construction, strong knowledge of MV/LV systems, and coordination with multiple trades. This is a contract-to-hire, onsite opportunity with travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10+ years of electrical construction experience on mission critical/data center projects.
• Proven experience leading electrical field operations as a Superintendent or equivalent.
• Strong knowledge of medium- and low-voltage power distribution.
• Experience coordinating electrical with mechanical and commissioning teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead electrical construction activities from installation through turnover and commissioning.
• Manage electrical subcontractors, including manpower planning and day-to-day performance.
• Develop and monitor schedules and budgets for electrical scopes.
• Coordinate with project managers, design partners, trade contractors, and owners.
• Review drawings and diagrams for accuracy and constructability.
• Guide installation activities and troubleshoot field issues.
• Identify value engineering opportunities to improve efficiency and reduce risk.
• Oversee on-site power distribution equipment installation and safety compliance.
• Coordinate with other disciplines to support integrated system performance.
• Maintain communication with field teams and stakeholders on status and issues.
• Support commissioning by coordinating electrical documentation and testing.
