Actalent is seeking an Electrical Superintendent for Milwaukee, WI, contract-to-hire. The role leads electrical construction for mission-critical/data-center projects, overseeing subcontractors, schedules, budgets, and safety on active sites.

Ideal candidates have 10+ years of electrical construction experience, strong leadership, and the ability to coordinate across disciplines. Position requires field presence, travel, and relocation as needed.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of electrical construction experience on mission-critical/data-center projects.
• Experience leading electrical field operations (superintendent/lead superintendent).
• Strong ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and diagrams (one-lines).
• Experience coordinating electrical with mechanical/structural/commissioning teams.
• Ability to travel or relocate to project locations as needed.

Responsibilities

• Lead electrical construction activities for large-scale data center projects from installation through turnover and commissioning.
• Manage electrical subcontractors: manpower planning, sequencing, day-to-day performance.
• Develop and monitor schedules and budgets for electrical scopes to meet milestones.
• Coordinate with project managers, design partners, and owners to resolve issues and keep work on track.
• Review drawings and specifications to ensure constructability and alignment with requirements.
• Guide installation activities and troubleshoot field challenges using electrical diagrams.
• Identify value engineering opportunities to improve efficiency and reduce risk.
• Oversee installation of medium and low-voltage power distribution systems and related equipment.
• Ensure safety standards and regulatory compliance on active sites.
• Coordinate electrical work with mechanical, structural, and commissioning activities.
• Utilize scheduling tools to track progress and report status to leadership.
• Maintain clear communication with field teams and stakeholders.
• Support commissioning with electrical documentation and testing requirements.
• Contribute to project strategy and field-driven improvements.
