Job summary

Actalent is currently seeking an Electrical Superintendent for Chicago, IL. This contract-to-hire role oversees electrical construction on mission-critical data center projects, coordinating with project teams and trade contractors to ensure safety, quality, and schedule adherence.

The role requires leading field operations, reviewing drawings and specs, and driving turn-over and commissioning activities. Travel may be required; onsite work in Chicago is expected.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in electrical construction on data centers or mission-critical projects.
• Proven leadership of field operations as superintendent or CM.
• Strong knowledge of MV and LV power distribution.
• Experience coordinating with design, mech, and commissioning teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead electrical construction activities for large-scale data center projects from installation through turnover and commissioning.
• Manage electrical subcontractors in the field, including manpower planning and day-to-day performance.
• Develop, monitor, and maintain project schedules and budgets for electrical scopes of work.
