Job summary

Black & Veatch Corporation in Overland Park, KS, seeks an Electrical Superintendent for a home-office based role with travel to project sites. You will supervise craft and subcontractor activities, align with safety, quality, and schedule requirements, and mentor field teams across union and non-union projects.

Candidates should have extensive field leadership experience in power or industrial construction, strong scheduling, and safety discipline.

Qualifications

11+ years experience as a Superintendent or Construction Manager on equivalent projects.
OSHA 10 certification.
Experience with union agreements and labor relations preferred.

Responsibilities

Interfacing with direct hire supervision and major subcontractors to meet safety, quality, schedule and performance targets.
Monitor CPM schedule, track progress, and report on schedule activities.
Coordinate with craft/subcontractors and superintendents to resolve issues related to drawings, information, schedule, quality and cost.
Maintain daily site logs and review timesheets and progress payments.
Mentor and train discipline superintendents; lead discussions and prepare look-ahead schedules.
Ensure adherence to safety standards, company policies, and contractual commitments.
