Job summary

Advastar, Inc. seeks an Electrical Superintendent to lead field crews across residential, multifamily, and commercial projects in the Kansas City metro.

The role includes building and running production schedules, ensuring on-time delivery, safety, and quality, and providing direct input to ownership. Strong candidates will have journeyman or master electrician credentials, substantial field operations experience, and demonstrated ability to manage multiple crews, plans, budgets, and change

Qualifications

• Journeyman or Master Electrician license preferred.
• Experience leading multiple electrical crews on varied projects.
• Strong grounding in field operations, project execution, and safety.
• Ability to read contracts, scopes, plans, budgets and reports.

Responsibilities

• Lead field crews across active projects, from single homes to multifamily builds.
• Build and run production schedules and manpower plans.
• Keep projects on schedule, budget, quality, and safety standards.
• Lead the safety program on jobsites with clear expectations and documentation.
• Visit jobsites daily to verify production and workmanship.
• Track labor, material use, and job costing; manage change orders and closeout.
• Coach foremen and field staff, enforce company processes, and report to ownership.
• Assume operating duties and provide timely updates to owners.
