Job summary

Black & Veatch is seeking an experienced Superintendent/Construction Manager to lead field operations at project sites from Overland Park, KS. The role emphasizes safety, schedule integrity, and coordination with craft and subcontractors.

Travel to project sites is expected; union experience is preferred. The position is office-based with field assignments and a strong emphasis on team leadership, accountability, and adherence to company standards.

Qualifications

• 11+ years experience as a Superintendent or Construction Manager on equivalent projects.
• OSHA 10 certification.
• Construction Management or Engineering degree.
• Valid Driver's License.

Responsibilities

• Partner with the Construction Manager to ensure safety, quality, ethical standards, and performance management.
• Monitor CPM schedule and report progress and costs.
• Coordinate with craft/subcontractors and supervision to align with schedule and quality targets.
• Develop and monitor 3 Week Look Ahead Schedule; ensure resources are available on site.
• Mentor and train discipline superintendents; support safety and quality on site.
