Job summary

Foundry is seeking a Traveling Electrical Superintendent to lead field execution on major hyperscale Data Center projects across the United States. This is a nationwide travel role, with per diem and travel package provided, and base salary $150,000–$200,000 depending on experience.

Based in Dallas–Fort Worth or anywhere in Texas, you will travel to project sites nationwide, overseeing MV/LV installations, scheduling, safety and quality, and coordinating commissioning with project teams.

• Strong electrical construction background with lead crews and ownership of substantial scopes.

Traveling Electrical Superintendent – Data Centers

THIS IS A TRAVELING POSITION – candidates must be comfortable traveling nationwide to Data Center projects.

We’re working with a leading electrical contractor that is continuing to expand its Data Center / Mission Critical division across the US.

They are looking to add experienced Traveling Electrical Superintendents to their field leadership team, working on major hyperscale Data Center projects across the country.

You can be based in Dallas–Fort Worth or elsewhere in Texas, but this is not a DFW-only position. You will travel to project locations nationwide, with an attractive per diem and travel package provided.

The Role

As a Traveling Electrical Superintendent, you'll take responsibility for field execution across major electrical scopes on large-scale Data Center projects throughout the US.

Responsibilities will include:

• Leading day-to-day electrical field operations
• Managing General Foremen, Foremen and large electrical crews
• Manpower planning and productivity
• Managing electrical installation and sequencing
• Driving schedules and critical project milestones
• Overseeing MV/LV electrical installations
• Coordinating switchgear, transformers, generators, UPS, busway and critical power distribution
• Working closely with Project Managers, QA/QC and commissioning teams
• Managing safety, quality and workmanship in the field
• Reviewing electrical drawings and specifications
• Coordinating energization, testing and commissioning activities
• Driving punch lists and final turnover

What We’re Looking For

We're interested in speaking with Electrical Superintendents, Senior Electrical Superintendents and experienced General Foremen ready to step up.

Previous Data Center / Mission Critical experience is highly desirable, particularly experience with critical power infrastructure, switchgear, transformers, UPS systems, generators and commissioning.

You should have a strong electrical construction background with experience leading crews, managing manpower, driving schedules and taking ownership of substantial electrical scopes.

Most importantly, you must be comfortable traveling nationwide for projects.

This role is particularly well suited to Superintendents who already have experience working on traveling assignments and want access to a long-term pipeline of major Data Center projects.
