CyberCoders, Inc. seeks a Traveling Electrical Superintendent to lead electrical construction for data center projects across regions. The role is hands-on, travels frequently to job sites, and ensures safe, code-compliant installation, testing, and commissioning of critical electrical systems.

You will manage subcontractors, schedules, and quality while coordinating with project teams to meet scope, budget, and schedule goals. Travel is frequent and essential.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of electrical construction experience with a superintendent or lead role.
• Direct data center, manufacturing, distribution, or industrial facility experience preferred.
• Demonstrated leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to travel extensively and work extended schedules.

Responsibilities

• Lead all field operations for assigned projects including site logistics, scheduling, safety, quality, and productivity.
• Oversee daily activities of subcontractors, foremen, and site personnel.
• Enforce safety protocols and ensure OSHA/company standards compliance.
• Coordinate with Project Manager, client representatives, engineers, and inspectors.
• Manage project schedules, anticipate challenges, and resolve conflicts.
• Ensure work complies with contract documents, drawings, specs, and local codes.
• Conduct site and coordination meetings and safety briefings.
• Maintain quality control with inspections and documentation.
• Review field production, manpower, and equipment usage.
• Support commissioning, turnover, and closeout of critical systems.
• Maintain daily reports, logs, photos, and field documentation.
• Serve as on-site company representative and maintain client relationships.

Traveling Electrical Superintendent

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Traveling Electrical Superintendent to lead electrical construction activities for high-value data center projects across multiple regions. The role focuses on ensuring safe, efficient, and code-compliant installation, testing, and commissioning of critical electrical systems (switchgear, UPS, generators, PDUs, busways, transformers) while maintaining schedule, quality and budgetary objectives. The ideal candidate is hands-on, travels frequently to job sites, coordinates cross-discipline teams, and provides clear leadership to subcontractors and craft personnel.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead all field operations for assigned projects including site logistics, scheduling, safety, quality, and productivity
• Oversee daily activities of subcontractors, foremen, and site personnel
• Enforce strict safety protocols and ensure compliance with OSHA and company standards
• Coordinate closely with the Project Manager, client representatives, engineers, and inspectors
• Manage project schedules, anticipating challenges and proactively resolving conflicts
• Ensure work complies with contract documents, drawings, specifications, and local codes
• Conduct regular site meetings, subcontractor coordination meetings, and safety briefings
• Monitor and maintain quality control standards including inspections and documentation
• Review and track field production, manpower, and equipment usage
• Support commissioning, turnover, and closeout processes for mission‑critical systems
• Maintain accurate daily reports, logs, progress photos, and field documentation
• Serve as the companys on‑site representative, maintaining strong client relationships.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of electrical construction experience with at least 5 years in a superintendent or lead role.
• Direct experience on data center, manufacturing, distribution, or industrial facilities preferred
• Strong understanding of MEP systems, concrete, steel, and complex building assemblies
• Proven ability to manage large subcontractor teams and multi‑phased schedules
• Deep knowledge of construction means, methods, and sequencing
• Demonstrated leadership and communication skills
• Ability to travel extensively and work extended schedules as required
