Voltyx is recruiting a Technical Sales Manager to drive sales of testing, transformer installation and repair, engineering, maintenance, grid equipment, and cyber security services in the Albuquerque region. The role focuses on prospecting new clients, presenting detailed proposals, and serving as the primary contact for regional customers.

Qualifications

• Experience in a technical sales role within the electrical industry.
• Demonstrated safety record and adherence to safety protocols.
• Strong understanding of market dynamics and fast-paced environments.
• Knowledge of electrical equipment acceptance and maintenance testing services.
• Experience with protection and control equipment, transformers, breakers, and switchgear.
• Excellent management and supervisory abilities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience with budgeting and P&L responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Prospect and develop relationships with new clients within an assigned territory.
• Consult with clients to determine needs and priorities; provide written proposals.
• Deliver oral presentations to support proposals for potential projects.
• Serve as primary contact for new and existing customers in the region.
• Coordinate and oversee work through admin, field personnel, and operations manager.
• Coordinate with admin to prepare accurate customer billing.
• Coordinate with Director for annual reviews and hiring of new personnel.
• Maintain a professional presentation when dealing with employees, clients, and suppliers.
