Job summary

Intertek is seeking a Sales Representative to grow the Electrical team in Lexington, Kentucky. The role focuses on expanding key accounts and identifying strategic new business opportunities while traveling at least 50% of the time.

You will engage clients at trade shows, prepare proposals, and manage the sales cycle from prospecting to closure, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction and achievement of targets.

Qualifications

• Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Detailed-oriented with ability to prioritize and organize workload.
• Willingness to travel up to 50% for client meetings and trade shows.

Responsibilities

• Sell Intertek’s ATIC services within assigned vertical, account and territory through client research, prospecting, and networking.
• Define and develop territory with Sales Manager to grow new and existing sales.
• Meet with current and prospective customers face to face via client presentations and trade shows.
• Write and follow up on proposals, specify appropriate standards and pricing.
• Follow through on sales transactions to ensure a superior customer experience for every project.
• Resolve customer needs, issues, and complaints efficiently.
• Meet all KPI targets and log activity in iConnect (CRM).
• Prepare sales reports and forecasts as required.
• Perform other duties as required.
