Job summary

Intertek, a leading Quality Assurance provider, is seeking a Sales Representative in Columbus, Ohio to grow the Electrical Sales portfolio. The role focuses on direct sales, account development, and delivering ATIC solutions to clients across key industries.

You will meet with customers, prepare proposals, and drive revenue while maintaining exceptional customer service and market knowledge. Expect a competitive base plus incentives with regional travel required.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED required.
• 1+ years successful direct sales experience.
• Must be able to travel at least 50% and have a valid driver's license.
• Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Proficient in MS Office.
• Excellent communication and presentation abilities.

Responsibilities

• Sell Intertek’s services within assigned vertical, account and territory through effective client research, prospecting, and networking.
• Meet with current and prospective customers via client presentations and participation at trade shows.
• Meet order and revenue quotas on a monthly basis.
• Write and follow up on proposals, specify appropriate standards and pricing; Follow through on sales transactions to ensure a superior customer experience for every project.
• Provide outstanding customer service.
• Meet all activity targets and log activity in to iConnect, as required.
• Prepare sales reports and forecasts, as required.
• Perform other duties as required.
