Job summary

Intertek USA is seeking a Sales Representative in Columbus, Ohio to develop new accounts and drive revenue for the Electrical Sales team. You will identify opportunities, conduct client presentations, and participate in trade shows to build relationships and close deals.

The role offers a base salary with monthly incentive eligibility based on sales goals, plus a comprehensive benefits package. Travel up to 50% is required, with strong emphasis on customer service and outcomes.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED required.
• 1+ years of direct sales experience preferred.
• Superior interpersonal and customer service skills essential.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation abilities.
• Strong organizational, prioritization and time management skills.
• Willingness to travel up to 50% and operate independently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Sell Intertek’s services within assigned verticals, accounts and territory.
• Meet with current and prospective customers through presentations and trade shows.
• Achieve monthly order and revenue quotas.
• Prepare proposals, specify standards and pricing; ensure customer satisfaction.
• Provide outstanding customer service throughout the project lifecycle.
• Log activity in iConnect and prepare sales forecasts as required.
• Perform other duties as needed.
