Job summary

Work With Your Handz LLC in Howell, Michigan, seeks an experienced Electrical Service Manager to own the electrical service department, mentor technicians, and drive growth, with support from an skilled field lead and a capable installation team.

This role requires hands-on leadership, strong electrical background, and the ability to manage budgets, KPIs, and customer experience, while delivering safe, high-quality service and ongoing coaching.

Qualifications

• Strong residential electrical service experience.
• Experience leading an electrical service team.
• Proven coaching and development of technicians.
• Experience managing KPIs, revenue, margin, and budgets.
• Familiarity with ServiceTitan is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop a team of residential electrical service technicians.
• Conduct ride-alongs, 1:1 meetings, performance reviews, and coaching.
• Facilitate weekly team meetings and technical training.
• Recruit, interview, hire, and develop team members as the department grows.
• Establish performance expectations and hold technicians accountable.
• Build a positive, team-first culture focused on growth and quality.
• Take ownership of department revenue, gross margin, and KPIs.
• Utilize ServiceTitan dashboards and scorecards to identify improvements.
• Manage labor costs, materials, and budgets to maintain profitability.
• Oversee pricing and pricebook accuracy.
• Monitor efficiency, ticket averages, and overall service performance.
• Partner with dispatch to maximize productivity and first-time fix rate.
• Identify process improvements and drive department growth.
• Oversee day-to-day operations with safety and customer satisfaction.
• Maintain service records and ServiceTitan reporting.
• Deliver an exceptional customer experience and professional service.
• Coach on communication, recommendations, and service presentation.
