Job summary

CORE Safety Group in Phoenix, AZ seeks an experienced Safety Manager with a hands-on approach to develop and maintain a proactive safety culture. The role emphasizes electrical safety, training leadership, and coaching to improve safety across operations.

The ideal candidate has 5–8 years of safety experience in construction or industrial settings, a strong electrical safety background, and OSHA 500 certification.

Qualifications

• 5–8 years of safety experience in construction, electrical, industrial, or related environment.
• Strong electrical safety experience/background.
• OSHA 500 certification required.
• Experience developing and delivering employee safety training.
• Ability to train and certify employees in LOTO, First Aid/CPR, Arc Flash, Fall Protection, and aerial lift equipment.
• Strong understanding of OSHA regulations and workplace safety requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead and continuously improve safety programs and initiatives across the organization.
• Provide hands-on safety leadership with a strong focus on electrical safety.
• Conduct jobsite inspections, audits, hazard assessments, and safety observations.
• Identify potential hazards and work with employees and management to implement effective corrective actions.
• Develop and deliver safety training programs for employees and field personnel.
• Train and certify employees in: LOTO, First Aid & CPR, Arc Flash / Electrical Safety, Fall Protection, Boom Lift / Scissor Lift Operation.
• Maintain accurate safety training and certification records.
• Investigate incidents, near misses, and unsafe conditions and assist with identifying root causes and corrective actions.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and company safety policies.
• Promote employee engagement and accountability through coaching, communication, and positive reinforcement.
• Partner with supervisors and leadership to continuously improve safety performance.
• Serve as a safety resource and mentor for employees at all levels.
• Help build a workplace culture where employees view safety as a shared responsibility.
