Job summary

TEAM Industrial Services, Inc. is seeking a Heat-Tempering Technician – Electrical Resistance in the Denver area. The role performs PWHT, preheat, and related thermal processing for piping, vessels, and weldments.

Responsibilities include setting up heating systems, recording temperature cycles, and coordinating with welders and inspectors on site. Requires 2–5 years ERHT experience and the ability to travel as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record.
• Ability to pass pre-employment drug/alcohol screening and background check.
• Must obtain TWIC, DISA or other site access credentials.
• 2–5 years of ERHT experience in industrial environments.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and break down electrical resistance heating systems.
• Perform PWHT and preheat activities per procedures and codes.
• Install blankets, insulation, and thermocouples with precision.
• Program, monitor, and record temperature cycles with control units.
• Interpret weld procedures, stress relief specs, and heat treat drawings.
• Troubleshoot equipment and temperature control issues on site.
• Coordinate with welders, inspectors and client representatives.
• Maintain heat cycle records and QA logs.
