Job summary

Ramboll seeks an Electrical Resident Engineer to oversee municipal water construction projects, applying standard engineering and construction techniques from design through commissioning. You will coordinate with site teams, review design submittals, and ensure compliance with contract documents.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or related discipline.
• Associate degree with 4+ years in engineering/design.
• Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• General understanding of electrical regulations, standards, and codes.

Responsibilities

• Analyze engineering concepts to meet contract requirements.
• Oversee construction personnel to ensure procedures follow contract documents.
• Review design criteria, drawings, submittals, RFIs, and change management.
• Perform engineering calculations for pump, concrete, hydraulics, and electrical adequacy.
• Assist in develop conceptual change management and scope.
• Prepare cash flow calculations and monitor project progress.
• Assist commissioning activities for equipment and electrical systems.
