Job summary

UNAVAILABLE is seeking an experienced electrical technician for installation, programming, testing, and maintenance of protective relaying and metering systems in transmission and distribution environments. You will interpret schematics, perform diagnostics, and coordinate repairs to ensure reliability and safety of critical power infrastructures.

Candidates should have 5+ years of relevant electrical experience or equivalent degrees, strong safety knowledge, and the ability to travel up to 50%.

Qualifications

• Experience with protective relays and metering systems testing/maintenance.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and wiring diagrams.
• Familiarity with safety standards (NETA/IEEE/OSHA) and lockout/tagout procedures.

Responsibilities

• Install, test, troubleshoot and maintain protective relaying and metering equipment.
• Analyze test results and interpret diagrams to locate faults.
• Coordinate testing and repairs with other departments.
