Job summary

M.c.-Dean, Inc. is seeking a field service electrical engineer to install, program, test, and maintain protective relaying and metering systems for transmission and distribution networks.

You will interpret schematics, perform diagnostic tests, and coordinate repairs to ensure a reliable, safe operation of critical power infrastructure. Responsibilities include traveling up to 50% domestically and internationally, working with test equipment such as Doble, Omicron, Megger, Vanguard and Fluke

Qualifications

• 4+ years of relevant electrical experience or an associate’s degree with 2+ years of experience or a bachelor’s degree with 1+ year.
• Strong knowledge of protective relays, metering, and electrical test procedures.
• Ability to travel domestically and internationally up to 50%.

Responsibilities

• Install, program, test and maintain protective relaying and metering systems.
• Interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams and substation drawings.
• Coordinate testing, troubleshooting and repairs with other departments.
• Perform circuit breaker and switchgear testing and commissioning.
• Maintain detailed test reports and ensure safety and compliance.
