Job summary

Gaylor Electric, Inc. is seeking a Project Manager to lead electrical and mission-critical construction projects, ensuring safety, profitability, and schedule adherence. The role involves coordinating resources, meetings, and stakeholder communication to deliver high-quality results.

You will report to the Operations Manager and collaborate with internal teams and external clients to ensure project success and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management preferred; equivalent studies or experience considered.
• 5 years of project management experience in the electrical field preferred; similar experience considered.
• Completion of, or initiative to enroll in, an approved electrical apprenticeship program preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and staff electrical and mission critical construction projects, ensuring they are completed safely, profitably, timely, and to a high standard.
• Identify and generate new business opportunities, network, and maintain customer relationships.
• Oversee multiple projects, providing on-site supervision of crews and leadership of field personnel.
• Review project documents, plans and specifications; direct construction activities; resolve issues and maintain client relationships within cost/time/quality constraints.
• Visit various jobsites to interact with crew, customers, foremen, and general contractors, ensuring progress and safety.
• Develop and maintain client relationships to meet project cost, time, and quality standards.
