Job summary

Gaylor Electric, Inc. is seeking a Project Manager to lead electrical and mission-critical construction projects.

You will plan, organize, and staff projects, manage safety and profitability, and report to the Operations Manager while coordinating with internal and external stakeholders. The role requires a Bachelor's in Construction Management (or equivalent), and about 5 years of PM experience in the electrical field, with strong communication and leadership skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or equivalent experience required.
• 5 years of project management experience in the electrical field preferred.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, organizational and technical skills required.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and staff electrical and critical construction projects safely, profitably, and on schedule.
• Identify and generate new business opportunities and maintain customer relationships.
• Oversee multiple projects with on-site supervision of crews and supervisors.
• Review project documents, plans and specs, direct construction activities, and coordinate closings.
• Visit jobsites to monitor progress and promote safe work practices.
• Develop and maintain strong client relationships to ensure cost, time and quality targets are met.
