Job summary

Vogrinc Search Group seeks a Project Manager for commercial electrical projects in Milford, CT. You will oversee day-to-day PM activities for jobs ranging from $300K to $4M, assist with estimating for smaller projects, and hit the ground running in a hands-on role.

The position requires a strong field background, with 4+ years in PM and OSHA 30 certification as a plus. The role offers a 60% office/40% field schedule with a company vehicle provided.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in project management within the commercial electrical industry.
• E-2 electrical license in Connecticut is preferred.
• Must have or be willing to obtain OSHA 30 certification.
• Estimating experience preferred (especially change orders).
• Proficient with project coordination and scheduling.
• Familiarity with McCormick estimating software is a plus.
• Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple commercial and industrial electrical projects across CT.
• Coordinate with foremen, subcontractors, clients, and vendors for timely delivery.
• Attend weekly job meetings and visit job sites regularly (company vehicle provided).
• Handle small project and change order estimating using McCormick software.
• Review scope, schedule, materials, labor needs, and change requests.
• Maintain communication with Head of Construction and ensure updates are tracked.
• Uphold safety standards and ensure OSHA compliance on job sites.
• Deliver jobs on time, within budget, and with minimal errors.
