Job summary

CESO, Inc. is seeking an Electrical Project Engineer II to lead technical design efforts for diverse projects including commercial, retail and light industrial sectors. You will create layouts and calculations, collaborate with project teams, and ensure designs meet industry standards and project budgets.

The role emphasizes professional growth under senior staff, with a flexible hybrid schedule and opportunities to engage with clients and owners on site visits and meetings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Architectural Engineering (ABET accredited).
• 7+ years of relevant experience; Master’s can substitute up to 1 year.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
• Proficient with Microsoft Outlook and daily timesheet data entry; strong MS Office knowledge.
• Advanced knowledge of engineering design, AEC industry codes and standards.

Responsibilities

• Assume responsibility for project and program designs under Engineer of Record supervision.
• Coordinate with architects, contractors, engineers, and vendors to determine scope and equipment needs.
• Attend owner, client, or architect meetings and visit project sites to observe progress.
• Develop advanced system layouts, schematics, and schedules using AutoCAD, Revit or other software.
• Model lighting luminaires, power systems, and control systems; perform related calculations.
• Review shop drawings and equipment submittals for conformance to plans and specs.
