The position requires a Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Architectural Engineering (ABET-accredited) with 3+ years of experience, or 5 years of design experience without a

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Architectural Engineering; 3+ years of relevant experience preferred, or 5+ years with no degree.
• Master's degree can substitute up to 1 year of work experience.
• FE exam completed and EIT certification with state licensure preferred.
• Proficiency with engineering design practices and industry codes.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office; experience with AutoCAD, Revit, Visual Lighting, SKM Power Tools, BlueBeam Revu.

Responsibilities

• Communicate design requirements with design teams, contractors, and sales representatives.
• Develop design approaches with oversight from senior staff.
• Create system layouts, drawings, schematics, and schedules using Revit or AutoCAD.
• Model lighting, power, and telecommunication systems.
• Perform calculations: panel loading, voltage drop, fault current.
• Coordinate with architects, contractors, and engineers to determine equipment needs.
