Job summary

CESO, Inc. is seeking a Project Engineer II in Ohio to oversee design and preparation of construction documentation for multiple projects. You will lead coordination with internal and external partners, apply design standards, and perform engineering calculations while staying current on industry trends.

The role requires a Civil Engineering degree and 5+ years of experience, with FE/EIT and PE licensure preferred. A hybrid work model and comprehensive benefits are offered by CESO.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field required.
• Minimum of 5 years of professional engineering experience required.
• FE exam completion and EIT certification preferred.
• Professional Engineer licensure preferred.
• Computer skills to enter daily timesheet data and use Microsoft Outlook.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, AutoCAD/Civil 3D, AutoTurn, BlueBeam Revu and other applicable design software.

Responsibilities

• Leads the preparation of construction and ancillary documents in accordance with project scopes, client requirements, and applicable jurisdictional standards.
• Lead and support design teams in the daily planning, coordination, and execution of project tasks under the guidance of senior staff or project managers.
• Coordinate with internal and external partners, including vendors, sub-consultants, clients, AHJs, other departments, and project management to ensure alignment throughout the project lifecycle.
• Research and apply relevant design standards, codes, and regulations from clients, the company, and governing authorities to ensure compliance and quality.
• Perform engineering calculations and technical analysis.
• Conduct quality assurance reviews of engineering documentation to ensure accuracy and adherence to standards.
• Prioritize and manage tasks in fast-paced environments to meet deadlines.
• Apply engineering principles to develop practical, innovative, and efficient solutions for various projects.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
