Job summary

CESO, Inc. is seeking an Electrical Project Designer I to join a diverse portfolio spanning commercial, retail, hospitality, multi-family, and light industrial programs.

You will perform technical design tasks under supervision, creating intermediate to advanced system layouts using Revit, AutoCAD, and other software, while collaborating with engineers, architects, and clients to ensure on-time, within-budget project completion.

Qualifications

• ABET-accredited Bachelor's in Electrical or Architectural Engineering; 5+ years of relevant experience preferred, or 7+ years without a degree.
• FE exam and EIT certification with state licensure preferred.
• Advanced knowledge of engineering design, AEC codes and standards required.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD, Revit, Visual Lighting, SKM Power Tools, and BlueBeam Revu.
• Travel up to 25% as directed by supervisor.

Responsibilities

• Begin to take responsibility for project designs under supervision with oversight by Engineer of Record.
• Communicate design requirements and assist project managers with coordination between architects, contractors, engineers, and clients.
• Attend meetings and visit sites to verify conditions and progress.
• Develop layouts, schematics, and schedules using Revit, AutoCAD or other software.
• Review work for technical accuracy and conformance to plans and specifications.
