The role includes creating layouts with Revit/AutoCAD, modeling lighting and power systems, and collaborating with architects, contractors, and engineers. A PE license and ABET degree are required; travel up to 25% is possible.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Architectural Engineering from ABET-accredited college or university and 3+ years of relevant experience.
• Master's degree can substitute up to 1 year of work experience.
• Intermediate knowledge of engineering design, codes, and standards.
• Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit, and Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Learn to communicate design requirements with internal/external design team members and stakeholders.
• Develop design approaches with oversight from senior staff.
• Create system layouts, schematics, and schedules using AutoCAD, Revit, or similar tools.
• Model lighting, power, and telecommunication systems based on calculations.
• Assist project managers and teams to determine project scope and equipment needs.
