Job summary

CESO is seeking a Project Engineer II to oversee the design and preparation of civil engineering construction documents, specs, and details for multiple projects. You will participate in internal and external meetings, make recommendations based on research and experience, and lead coordination with team members.

You will use engineering software to create, modify, and analyze designs, review concepts, and contribute to technical reports, while staying current with trends and technologies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• FE exam completed and EIT certification.
• PE licensure or eligibility.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and engineering design software.
• Knowledge of AutoCAD/Civil 3D, AutoTurn, BlueBeam Revu.

Responsibilities

• Leads the preparation of construction and ancillary documents in accordance with project scopes, client requirements, and standards.
• Lead and support design teams in daily planning, coordination, and execution of project tasks under guidance of senior staff or project managers.
• Coordinate with vendors, sub-consultants, clients, AHJs, other departments and project management to ensure alignment and accuracy.
• Research and apply relevant design standards, codes, and regulations to ensure compliance and quality.
• Perform engineering calculations and technical analysis.
• Conduct quality assurance reviews of engineering documentation for accuracy and completeness.
• Prioritize and manage tasks effectively in fast-paced environments to meet deadlines.
• Apply engineering principles to develop practical, innovative and efficient solutions for various project types.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
