Job summary

IMEG is hiring an Electrical Project Engineer to lead electrical system analysis, design, and oversight across building projects with hybrid work options in California. You will mentor staff, manage project planning, and ensure energy-efficient, code-compliant solutions aligned with MEP2050 and AIA2030.

The role supports hospitality, government, and mixed-use sectors, with travel up to 10% and ESOP ownership culture.

Qualifications

• BS in Electrical Engineering or equivalent required.
• PE license preferred.
• 2 years minimum in building design consulting; 4 years preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead electrical system analysis and design per code requirements and IMEG standards.
• Collaborate with clients to gather requirements and communicate technical information.
• Support project planning, budgeting, and scheduling activities.
• Document design decisions and monitor progress against milestones and fees.
• Perform in-process reviews of designs, calculations, and specs per IMEG QC processes.
