Job summary

IMEG Corp in Minneapolis, MN is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to lead electrical design, analysis, and project oversight on healthcare and MEP projects. The role combines technical leadership with project management responsibilities and mentorship within a 100% employee-owned firm.

You will design electrical systems, perform analyses, interact with clients, and ensure designs meet IMEG standards while advancing high-performance, energy-efficient building solutions.

Qualifications

• BS in Electrical Engineering required; PE license required.
• 7+ years of building design consulting experience; 8 years preferred.
• Strong knowledge of Illumination Engineering Society (IES) standards and NFPA references.

Responsibilities

• Lead design efforts for electrical systems analysis, creating detailed designs, specs, and calculations per code and IMEG standards.
• Perform site assessments and generate technical reports.
• Coordinate with clients, gather requirements, and maintain client relationships through professional communication.
• Provide in-process design reviews and QC to meet IMEG quality standards.
• Mentor staff and support safety and project delivery.
• Coordinate, oversee, and manage projects, including scopes, fees, and schedules.
• Lead project meetings and ensure timely completion of milestones.
