Job summary

Enterprise Electrical in Texas is seeking an Assistant Project Manager to support electrical construction projects by assisting in planning, coordination, and day-to-day project management activities.

You will work with Project Managers, field leadership, vendors, and internal teams to help ensure projects are safe, on schedule, within budget, and compliant with NEC and company standards. This role emphasizes documentation, procurement support, and clear communication across project phases.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred in CM, Engineering, or related field; equivalence considered.
• 1–3 years of experience in construction project coordination/management (electrical preferred).
• Experience on commercial/industrial projects is a plus.
• Willingness to travel between project sites.

Responsibilities

• Assist PM in day-to-day project operations and administration.
• Support preparation, review, and tracking of RFIs, submittals, change orders, and logs.
• Organize weekly project schedules, manpower plans, material deliveries, and long-lead tracking.
• Attend project meetings and prepare notes or action items.
• Maintain accurate project documentation and timely updates to stakeholders.
• Conduct site walks to observe progress and verify compliance.
• Assist with documenting field conditions and reporting delays.
• Coordinate with field leadership on goals, safety, and execution plans.
• Monitor labor hours, equipment usage, and material costs.
• Review purchase orders, delivery tickets, and subcontractor invoices for accuracy.
• Help prepare weekly summaries and cost-to-complete updates for leadership.
• Facilitate communication between clients, GC, engineers, and teams.
• Uphold Enterprise Electrical safety standards on site.
