Job summary

CEC Facilities is seeking a proactive project coordinator to support construction initiatives across electrical and general trades. The role focuses on coordinating estimates, schedules, submittals, and financial documents while ensuring alignment with drawings and specs.

You will interact with owners, architects, engineers, and subcontractors to drive timely decisions, monitor deliverables, and maintain comprehensive project records in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or related field preferred; high school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 2+ years of electrical or general construction project coordination/management.
• Journeyman Electrician’s license is a plus.
• Strong computer literacy with MS Office, Bluebeam and accurate estimating tools.

Responsibilities

• Collaborates with preconstruction teams to support project estimating, cost control, and schedule development.
• Reviews scopes of work and coordinates with drawings, specs and project objectives.
• Prepares and reviews submittals for accuracy and compliance.
• Compiles and analyzes pay apps, change orders, and other financial documents.
• Participates in subcontractor bidding, evaluations, and award recommendations.
• Assists in contract administration and ensures compliance with terms.
• Oversees time tracking and reporting with field and admin staff.
• Coordinates with owners, architects, engineers, inspectors, and subcontractors.
• Organizes project meetings and maintains documentation.
