Sargent & Lundy, a leader in electrical engineering, offers a hybrid work arrangement with opportunities for on-site client visits in Portland, OR. The role focuses on detailed electrical analysis for substation, transmission, conventional and renewable energy projects within the Electrical Analytical Division.

Ideal candidates have 10+ years in electrical analysis, a strong background in power systems, and experience with ETAP/SKM/PSCAD/EMTP-RV, plus excellent communication and leadership

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering; Master’s or PhD preferred.
• 10+ years of experience performing electrical analysis.
• Experience analyzing power systems using ETAP, SKM, PSCAD and EMTP-RV.
• Proficiency with MS Office applications.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Solid interpersonal skills and ability to guide others.
• Strong knowledge of scripting languages such as Python or JavaScript is a plus.
• Professional Engineer (PE) exam completed is valued but not required.
