Quanta Services, Inc. is seeking an Assistant Project Manager/Project Engineer to lead planning, execution, and delivery of complex electrical power engineering projects.

The role combines technical knowledge with field coordination, project documentation, scheduling, client communication, and testing support. The ideal candidate has a background in electrical or mechanical engineering and 3+ years in utility projects, with experience in Primavera or MS Project.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in electrical/Mechanical engineering, construction management, or related technical field.
• 3+ years of experience managing utility or electrical infrastructure projects.
• Strong background in electrical systems, power distribution, protection & control, or substation testing.
• Working knowledge of project management tools such as Primavera, MS Project, or similar platforms.

Responsabilidades

• Manage all site-level document control, ensuring current drawings, specs, work orders, and scope documents are available to field personnel.
• Process, track, and distribute RFIs from initiation through resolution with timely responses.
• Prepare, submit, and track site submittals including material data sheets and test equipment calibration records.
• Maintain organized site files and audit-ready records.
• Support the Project Manager in assembling and maintaining job packets with latest approved scope of work.
• Submit daily progress reports to the Project Manager with work completed and conditions.
• Maintain a daily site log with significant activities and client directions.
• Photograph work in progress for documentation and quality records.
• Track daily quantities and note rework or deficiencies.
• Conduct daily crew briefings to review plan, safety, and sequencing.
